In 2023, SMS GROUP commissioned SIME to supply the automation engineering and hardware for a new rolling mill in Spain.
The project ended this year with the FAT at our plant in Tarcento performed together with the end customer.
The overall supply includes:

- 4 PLC Automation Switchboards
- 22 Remote I/O Panels
- 10 Main Control Desks
- 92 Operator’s Stations
- 84 Lamp Towers
- 23 Breaking Resistor Switchboards
