SIME is able to serve several sectors, among which the Naval and Oil & Gas. For example, the company joined a complex project to deliver a new pipe-laying vessel for a global solutions provider in the energy and infrastructure sectors. The supply consisted of the design and manufacturing of the electrical switchboards to integrate a new 108kW pump to an existing hydraulic unit, including:

• 2 Inox Electrical Switchboards HPU.QPM-5: Incoming line 4P 690V 250A; Soft Start 200A 690V; SIEMENS ET200M redundant I/O unit (redundancy configuration)
• 2 JB including n. 24 proximity switches.
