SIME successfully completed the commissioning of a new power switchboard and the change of the communication network relating to a plate rolling mill train in a plant-based in San Giorgio di Nogaro (UDINE).
The supply included:

• power switchboard for the new AC motors of the adjusting screws and exit serving roller tables of the Reversible two-high stand. The switchboard contains ABB multidrive system composed of Inverter R3i 400V 50A, Inverter R7i 400V 300A Inverter R8i 400V 760A, and Control Unit Bcu-02 Kit for R8i ISU
• network revamping: replacement of ControlNet fieldbus with Ethernet-IP and replacement of Flex I/O remote modules with Point I/O unites
• PLC and SCADA/HMI software upgrade
• commissioning and customer’s personnel training
